Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
It took me a long time to update this site. Just been really busy - blogging over at Journey to Honeyville and also with activities here and there.
Reggie celebrated his 16th birthday in November. Earlier this year, I wrote about Ryland's and Ryan's birth. Now it's Reggie's that I am sharing with you. Check out A Special Surprise and also pictures from his 16th birthday celebration.
I have updated my Photo Album. You can now view our Christmas pictures.

It took me a long time to finish it. But it's finally done! Another addition to my creations. The Villamiel Family Album. Visit it at http://villamiel.homestead.com.
To the Villamiel family, we would appreciate any additional information for the Family Tree. Please send us your pictures, too.

Rowena Delmundo, 55, retired on September 30, 2005 after 15 years with Great West Life.
But as Michelle Demings, her supervisor, said, she doesn’t look like she’s retiring. Rowena looks as young as ever. She doesn’t seem to age. She’s as beautiful and as elegant as she was on May 27, 1996, the day I started working at GWL.

The leaves are turning yellow and it’s getting colder especially at night. And yes, the kids are back to school and hubby is back to work (thank goodness). We are back to the usual routine of very busy days. It’s really nice that we got to slow down during the warm days of summer.
On friends news… One of the girls in our group, Marissa, had resigned from work. She currently owns Peekaboo store down in Jefferson and Sinclair. She wants to focus her attention on her food business. She sells lumpia, chicken wings and other delectable delights. The group surprised her with a farewell dinner last week. You can view the pictures here.

The kids are on Summer vacation from school. So what are they up to? My wonderful kids are helping me with the chores around the house and they are also kept busy by their Gameboy and Playstation games. It has been our weekly ritual now to go to Rogers Video to rent games and movies. And that's what I am up to these days, catching up on movies. We don't really have any plans of going anywhere, as usual, especially now that hubby is still on EI (Employment Insurance). I was kind of looking forward to getting away pa naman. Oh well, maybe next time.

I have posted smaller images in Journey to Honeyville so that the pages could upload quickly. You will find the larger images in one of my on-line photo albums:

"Welcome to the Club," said Ate Cecile. "Pinatatanda nyo naman ako," I replied. "Wala naman sa mukha," Kuya Mike said. "Oh, thank you," I blushed. "Hindi ka mukhang 40," he added. "Forty is only a number," I said. I still feel young at heart naman. "Life begins at 40," Kuya Boy remarked. If it really does, then I can't wait what's still ahead of me.

Friends of Francis organized a benefit social to help out his family while he's recovering from his bypass surgery and while he isn't working. Read A Friend In Need and view pictures from the Social.

We recently had two health scares. My brother-in-law, Francis, had a triple bypass. It was successful and he is now recuperating. On the other hand, our dear friend Ate Alice, had a brain tumor removed. Sadly, the operation wasn't successful. Read my tribute to her. My sister wrote something as well. View pictures from the funeral here.
I have also added pictures from Christmas Party 2004 of my friends from GWL. I wasn't able to attend this one so don't go looking for me in the pictures.
